The name is far too tame for this snake. Found in Australia, this is a fast-moving and aggressive snake infamous for its bad temper. This species is responsible for the most snake-related human deaths in Australia and is the second most venomous land snake in the world. Their diet is primarily mice, which is why this snake loves hanging around rural homesteads and populated areas. One quick bite from the Common Brown and paralysis sets in before triggering cardiac arrest. You will need some serious doses of antivenom to reverse the effects.
