Travel Is Back To These Cheap Destinations

With 2020 in the rearview mirror, many are ready to get back to traveling.  Due to the number of people who are hesitant to get back on a plane or into a cruise ship, travel companies are resorting to impressive price deals to entice consumers back to the skies and the seas.  Here are some destinations to check out on the cheap

Mexico

Right now there are amazing – and cheap – destinations to visit all over Mexico.  From North America’s largest city, Mexico City (“D.F.”, or Distrito Federal in Spanish), to tropical paradises, America’s semi-tropical neighbor has it all.  Thompson Hotel Playa del Carmen has a $469 3-night luxury stay, including complimentary breakfast and waived resort fees.  If you’re looking for something more comprehensive, you can fly roundtrip to Cabo from LAX, and get three nights at the 4-star Krystal Grand Los Cabos, all for $469 inclusive of the flights.  Lastly, if you want a more cosmopolitan trip,  you can stay at the luxurious 5-star Sofitel in Mexico City (a hotel rivaling chains like the Ritz Carlton) for just $699 for two nights, including breakfast and a $50 daily credit.  Other sites have been found advertising 5 day/4 night deals to Cancun for $349, marked down from $599.  If you would rather check out other Latin American travel destinations, 4-night trips to Punta Cana have been found, including flights, from $549 with all meals and drinks.

Las Vegas

Right now, flights to Las Vegas are cheap.  Many plane tickets to Vegas are running at just fifty bucks from popular origins such as the Los Angeles Area, with other sites advertising rates around $75, depending on departure date.  There are currently 4-day/3-night deals for $69 with stays at hotels such as Luxor, Flamingo, Excalibur, or The Strat (formerly Stratosphere).  Longer deals have been found for just $149.  Even luxurious hotels such as the Aria and Vdara are being advertised multi-night including flights from $487 and $519 respectively (for two nights including flights from select domestic destinations); be sure to check pricing and dates from your location.

Thailand

Want to go to a 5-star resort for an entire week?  Check out the Khao Lak Thailand, on Thailand’s North Coast, where you can get a Deluxe Room with a private balcony for $399 for one week.  It includes a daily buffet breakfast, one 60-minute massage per person, and a 3-course Thai dinner for two.

Iceland

This 3-night trip to Iceland includes both lodging and flights from NYC or Boston.  You can see large glaciers, tour beautiful waterfalls, and go to the spa with this economical 3-night getaway from just $699 per person.  The trip includes a Northern Lights tour and entrance to Sky Lagoon spa.

Florida

$99 resort deals to Orlando abound, from Universal Studios to other destinations in the area.  Universal has 3-part, 5-night packages starting from $99 per person/per night, which includes admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay.  If you would like something of a better deal, just minutes from Universal you will find this 3-night Waterpark resort deal for $79.  The Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa features luxury resort amenities, an award-winning Smokehouse Grill, and endless activities which include 7 heated outdoor pools, pontoons, and mini golf for the whole family.  Be sure to check your travel dates for up-to-date deals.

Cruises

Another travel destination right now is cruises, which have experienced incredibly low rates in the post-2020 World. With the sun on the horizon, the cruise industry is relaunching, and it’s offering some very attractive pricing, even free drinks, and WiFi, to lure customers back to the Tropics and the Mediterranean.  A Miami Getaway Cruise is sure not to break the bank is just $140 to the Bahamas.  MSC Cruises has rates in South America from $119.

In Conclusion

This is a great time to get a deal on many popular travel destinations.  With business travel decreased to rates unlike before, travel companies are depending on vacationers to get back to vacationing to keep hotels and flights full.  So search around, you might be surprised what you could find.
