6. The Suicide Squad (Aug 6)
This James Gunn film isn’t a sequel to the 2016 film and neither it is a reboot. The film will see the return of stars like Margot Robbie and there will also be new additions such as Idris Elba. Gunn recently confirmed the film is R-rated, which also makes it the secon R-rated film in the Worlds of DC after Birds of Prey. Other stars include Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis as Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Rick Flag and Amanda Waller.
