Real life is boring, a lot of you may say, and that is one of the reasons why people like to fantasize and imagine things that perhaps won’t be possible in real life. Wouldn’t you like flying around in a suit of armour to save the world and humanity? Or swing across buildings, or just beat the crap out of someone who annoys you.
The fantasy world is an escape from reality and indeed more thrilling. With a buttery pop corn in your hand as you sit on the edge of the seat to witness a powerful villain, you wonder whether your hero will triumph over him and how. As you hold your breadth, you fall in love with those who protect the weak.
In 2020, we couldn’t see most of the anticipated superhero films, but this year, they will definitely hit the screens. Here’s a list of Marvel, DC and more comic book films that you need to look out for.
1. Morbius (March 19)
In the role of Morbius, Jared Leto tried to cure himself of a rare blood disease but ends up turning himself into a vampire. Explaining his character Leto had earlier said, “That’s what I was really attracted to. This is somebody who has a lot of conflict in his life. He’s a guy who’s born with this horrible disease and is really a gifted person. When he was young, he was very curious about science and medicine and decided to dedicate his life to find a cure for the disease that he’s afflicted with and that others like him have, as well. But along the way, all hell breaks loose. There’s a line in the film where Morbius says that he’s been dying his entire life and now feels more alive than ever. I think that sums it up.”
