Peter Ostrum

A former child actor in the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Peter Ostrum ended up choosing a different profession. His family used to own a horse when he was a child, and young Peter Ostrum felt inspired to become a veterinarian. He received his doctorate in 1984.
Oddly enough, he was still being interviewed about the 1971 movie in 2005, which prompted him to stop answering his phone. Being a celebrity can be a burden to some and it’s understandable how one can want a normal profession instead of fame, no matter how much money they could earn by being an actor.
