But, he was found dead at his Edwardsville home, Rolls Royce SUV missing. Officers found the body of 47-year-old Randy Gori dead at his home in the 4500 blocks of Mooney Creek in rural Edwardsville just before 9 p.m.

Randy was a true leader, a wonderful attorney, and a friend and a champion of our community. He gave so much to everyone he knew both professionally and professionally. We will continue the legacy that Randy created and ask to join the community in this difficult time of his family.”
Dr. Ed Hightower, the former Edwardsville District 7 Schools Superintendent, was close friends with Gori he said “We were very close,” Dr. Hightower said and added “It is just senseless his death, just tragic. Words cannot describe how this type of senseless death hurts the family and the community. I am struggling for words and I don’t normally do that. I was just devastated when I heard it this morning.”

Mr. Gori is also a frequent speaker on asbestos litigation.
According to gorilaw, he was a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association as a Legislative Committee Member, St. Clair County Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Product Liability & Insurance Law Committee, Member.
He received an Academic Achievement Award in Remedies when he graduated in 1998. Gori and the Gori Law Firm donated $10,000 to BackStoppers in October 2019 in honor of fallen Illinois State Police Trooper Nicholas Hopkins, according to the law firm’s website.
In December, Gori and the law firm donated money to the City of Edwardsville for a new ice rink facility. The rink will be named the Gori Family Ice Complex, Kmov reports. Gori was also the managing partner and co-founder of Gori Julian & Associates.
